The government transferred Rs 36659 crore to the accounts of 16 crore people






The Finance Ministry informed on Sunday that a total of Rs 36,659 crore has been transferred to the accounts of 16.01 crore beneficiaries under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The amount has been sent to the beneficiary's account between March 24 and April 17.

A total of Rs 36,659 crore has been transferred to the accounts of 16.01 crore beneficiaries under DBT.
Out of Rs 36,659 crore, 27,442 crore were sent through CSS and CS.
These cash transfers have been sent through digital payments technology under the Controller General of Accounts of the Public Financial Management System (PFMS). The Finance Ministry has released a statement on this.

9,717 crore under transfer of welfare schemes of the states

Out of this Rs 36,659 crore, Rs 27,442 crore has been sent through CSS and CS. While Rs 9,717 crore has been sent under the welfare schemes of the state governments. CSS is the centrally sponsored scheme under PMFS, while CS is the central sector. Anurag Singh Thakur, Minister of State for Finance, has also reported this in a tweet.

The Center transferred cash under these schemes

A total of 11.42 crore beneficiaries have been transferred under PM Kisan Scheme, MNREGA, National Social Assistance Program (NSAP), Prime Minister Matri Vandana Yojana, National Rural Livelihood Mission, National Health Mission and different scholarship schemes under different ministries. Under PM Kisan Scheme, 8.43 crores have been transferred to Rs. 17,733 crore to registered farmers and Rs.

Money is also transferred under the schemes of these states

Besides, direct transfers have been made to the beneficiary's accounts under the schemes of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tripura, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh. A total of Rs 9,217.22 crore has been transferred to the accounts of 4.59 crore beneficiaries under a total of 180 welfare schemes of the states.
19.88 crore benefit to women reproductive account holders




In addition to these schemes, under the Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY), transfers of Rs 500 have been made in the accounts of women reproductive account holders. A total of 19.88 crore women have been transferred under this scheme till April 13. The central government has spent Rs. 9930 crore on it.
